     The SCAN

an abbreviation for SCA Newsletter, is a regularily published, web based newsletter that is freely available to all. However it is advantageous to be a registered reader, since you will then receive email notification when each new issue is available. In addition to this you will also receive copies of the SCA Report or SCAR.

     The SCAR

an abbreviation for SCA Report, is a text-only email service which is issued on an as-required basis. This service supplies it's registered readers with advanced notice of important deadlines and other time-critical information.

Both publications have regular features which include:

A selection of events taken from the scores of events on the SCA database. This database can be searched by time to find an event convenient to you.

A selection of Direct Links to European and other international websites taken from the finda-training-course.co.uk website. The Useful Links page is where Guidance Notes, Proposals and other relevant printed documents can be downloaded. There currently are 100+ such links in this section covering a wide range of relative Directives. This feature will save many hours of searching through these complex websites for the correct information.

Standards update information - mainly based on changes and additions made by the IEC and Euro Norms. This information is supplied by the Standard Bearer standards updating service
